Band
Allambie Heights Public School has a highly successful and popular Band Program, which promotes:
· Lasting friendships
· Increased social skills
· Responsibility, resilience and respect
There are four bands, with rehearsals held at the school:
· Training Band
· Concert Band
· Performance Band
· Jazz Band
Membership of each band is open to all students from year 3 to year 6 and is determined by musical experience and ability, not by seniority in school years. Instruments are recommended on an individual basis and all suggestions for instruments are warmly welcomed.
The P&C and its Band sub-committee supports our school to promote the Band Program.
